No mess, no tractors, just wonderful clean animals for your residents to enjoy.
Nursing Home Therapeutic Farm Visits!
Enjoy a wonderful visit with our amazing team of therapy animals. During the visit, your residents will meet, pet and cuddle a range of animals such as kid goats, alpacas, chicks, ducks, guinea pigs, sheep and lambs (very tame), rabbits, roosters and more.
Nursing Home Farm Visits
This is a therapeutic visit, we take our time introducing the animals rather than bringing them in all at once. We usually start with a rabbit or 2 and when they are settled and cuddled up on a lap we bring in Ed Sheeran and Stormzy the guinea pigs. Following this the chicks and ducklings will make an appearance and will happily sit on laps to be petted. Our hens and roosters come in next followed by a selection of ducks and drakes.
Our resident pygmy goats Tuppence and Cinnamon are so tiny, we can bottle feed them along with our lambs, and all residents can give them a pet and watch them play.
The sheep (Custard or Moon) usually come in at the end and will calmly and quietly walk around your setting being petted. We are happy to take animals to wards or private rooms as and when required. (Room/ward visits must be accompanied by a staff member of course). All our animals can happily handle lifts and stairs (including our sheep) so first floor visits are no problem.
Special pricing available for nursing homes that would like regular visits. We can also visit your nursing home for a family fun day during the summer. Dates book up very quickly!
